Taking a camel ride at the Pyramids.  Inadvisable there as you'll get ripped off!

Napoleon had his army use the Sphinx's nose as target practice, I kid you not-- and then the layer at the top of the Pyramid was all limestone (I'm pretty sure) and it once covered the whole thing, but people took it off to use it for oter structures and stuff. Wow, studying art history payed off...
